141 East Town Street

Built in the late 1960s, the medium size, four-story office building is located on the southwest corner of Town and Fourth streets. With an adjacent 65-space parking lot, the downtown building is within footsteps of the State Capitol, the Hyatt on Capital Square, the Ohio and Southern Theatres, the Riffe Tower, Huntington Center, and the historic, urban German Village community - increasingly rare attributes for most buildings in cities of equal or greater size.

In 1999 Calgary Real Estate Development Ltd. purchased the building for redevelopment for $1.6 million. A planned $200,000/$300,000, six month renovation followed.

Calgary Development partners, attorney Jim Havens and real estate appraiser Samuel D. Koon, purchased and renovated the 20,000 square-foot building. Havens Limited, Samuel Koon Appraisers, Calgary Realty, Kagay Schellhaas Accountants and Willis Law currently occupy the facility.
